Todd and Stefanie Vincent have been married nearly three decades. They raised three kids, built a career, poured into their community — and for over twenty years, they carried a dream they couldn't quite explain yet. A place. Something specific. Something they'd know when they found it.
Then they found 142 acres in Central Texas, dropped down a hill, saw the lake, and looked at each other.

More Than a Venue
The Vincent Homestead was never designed to be a business. Todd and Stefanie built it as a place to give — to families who've never had the chance to fish or hunt or just need a breath of fresh air, to couples who need a weekend away from the noise, to anyone who needs to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the people they love most.
Selah Lodge takes its name from that intention. Selah — a Hebrew word woven through the Psalms, believed to mean pause and reflect. When guests walk in and go quiet for a moment, taking in the lake view through the windows, Todd and Stefanie feel like they got it right.
"We never made this place with a vision that we'd make a dollar off of it," Todd says. "It was always — what can we give away?"
A Second Chapter
When their youngest left for college, Todd and Stefanie found themselves at a crossroads most people recognize but few embrace so fully. Empty nesters. Energy to spare. A dream that had been waiting twenty years.
They went all in.
What they found was 142 acres with some existing treasures — including The Farmhouse, built in 1908, that still stands on the property today. But Todd and Stefanie didn't just preserve what was there. They amplified it. They built Selah Lodge for people who need to rest. They built the Sunset Pavilion for people who want to celebrate. They built the bridal suite, the saloon, the shooting range — all of it — because they believe people deserve beautiful places and beautiful experiences, and they wanted to be the ones to offer it.
A sign hangs in their home. It reads:
"Live in such a way that those who don't know God will come to know God because they know you."
That's the operating principle of everything here. You won't hear a sermon at The Vincent Homestead. But most guests leave feeling something they didn't expect — a sense of peace, a sense of being genuinely cared for, a sense that the people running this place actually mean it.
They do.
